Glungezer – Nature, Play & a True Highlight for Everyone

At the end, they collect the correct solution word and receive a small surprise at the Hochmahdalm hut. It’s a wonderful way to turn a simple hike into an exciting family experience.
There are also several child-friendly hiking trails around the Patscherkofel that can easily be adapted depending on energy levels and how adventurous everyone feels that day. And the fun already starts at the valley station: the Kofel playground is the perfect place to begin the day relaxed – or to wind down after a mountain adventure.
Serlesbahnen Mieders – A Full Day of Experiences
A trip to the Serlesbahnen in Mieders feels almost like a small adventure park in the mountains. The gondola ride already builds anticipation, and once you reach the top, there is plenty to discover.
The large water and adventure area is often the highlight: children can play, get muddy, experiment – and completely lose track of time. The surrounding paths are easy and accessible, making it simple to plan a relaxed day.

Zillertal Arena & Hexenwasser Söll – The Mountains as a Playground
Even though it’s a slightly longer drive, a trip to the Zillertal Arena or Hexenwasser Söll is absolutely worth it.
While the Zillertal Arena offers many adventure stations, playgrounds, and varied trails, Hexenwasser Söll is a truly unique place. Everything here revolves around the element of water: walking barefoot through streams, experimenting, wondering, and discovering. Children are simply allowed to be children – getting wet is part of the experience.
It’s one of those places where you realize how little it takes to create an unforgettable day.
Nature, Themed Trails & Special Experiences near Hall
If you prefer something quieter and closer, there are also wonderful short excursions around Hall. Themed trails such as the Piepmatzweg, the Gnadenwald Tree Trail, or the historic Salt Trail combine nature with small stories and interesting details.
A very special experience is the llama trekking in Wattenberg. Every Friday at 2:00 pm, guests of the Hall-Wattens region can take part in the summer program. “Llama dad” Hans introduces his animals, and together you walk through the Wattenberg forest. You get close to the calm, curious llamas and learn a lot about these special animals along the way.
